1:00pm - 4:00pm The Heritage Center 2140 14th Avenue You do not need to be Gumby to participate in the yoga fundraiser, “Have a Heart for Haiti” on February 27th. The devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12th has inspired a group of local “yogis” (as they call them) to organize a local effort that will unite the community through yoga. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the U.S Fund for UNICEF, supporting their emergency response to Haiti including the capital of true desolation, Port-Au-Prince. 100% of every dollar donated to UNICEF will support their work for children. Nearly 40% of Haitians are under the vulnerable age of 14. Beginning at 1pm at The Heritage Center in Vero Beach, Attendees Can Enjoy: • Two yoga sessions led by energetic teachers • Hearing stories from personal Haiti experiences • Complimentary vendor and sponsor displays A minimum suggested donation is $30 via cash or check. All levels of yoga friends are invited to participate or watch. Space on the floor will be limited so advance registration is encouraged. Please bring your own mat and arrive at least fifteen minutes early in order to sign in before spirited teacher and global adventurer, Julie Cielo begins teaching at 1pm. The afternoon session beginning at 3pm will be taught by the motivational, artistic & enthusiastic Shelley Adelle. “Have a Heart for Haiti” is sponsored in part by Ebb & Flow Healing Arts Studio, www.JulieCielo.com, Sean Clinton Creative Services and Living Yoga Studio in Vero Beach. If you are interested in being a partner, attendee or vendor at the yoga fundraiser, please contact JulieCielo@aol.com Attendees are encouraged to wear red to show they “Have a Heart for Haiti”.
